Merino Extreme is an advanced underwear with a combination of polyester and merino wool for outdoor activities. Polyester is designed for optimal moisture transport while merino wool possesses the highest insulation properties.

The merino fiber provides excellent temperature control: under cold conditions, the fibers keep warm due to their finely crimped structure, in which insulating air is best trapped. Under warm conditions, the wool cools thanks to its high respiratory activity.

The fiber surface is dirt- and water-repellent, whereas the fiber inside is able to absorb water without feeling wet. And: Unlike down, the wool retains its thermoregulating properties, even when it is wet.

Merino wool is a natural, renewable raw material and therefore biodegradable.

Merino wool is odor-inhibiting. Keratin, the protein of which the fiber consists, degrades odor-forming bacteria. In addition, it has the advantage that the fiber surface remains relatively dry and thus the bacteria cannot grow well. This is, on the one hand, pleasant for the wearer (and his companions) and, on the other hand, environmentally friendly and practical: Merino products have to be washed less frequently and can also be used several times on multi-day tours.

Merino wool is easy to clean. It hardly creases and dries quickly.
